The Background
Sandstone, a healthcare startup, delivers high-quality medical care with the goal of helping patients get back to themselves, their homes, and their loved-ones as soon as possible.

The Challenge
Sandstone bought out an existing company.
They had two goals:

1. Build a scalable, profitable entity of their own.
2. Overcome certain negative impressions that people might have of their facilities based on past management.

As far as branding was concerned, they had nothing: No identity, no branding elements, no unifying theme. Located in Nevada, they wanted their branding to reflect the beautiful desert environment. Starting from the ground up, they wanted to get it right.

New Logo: Sun and sandstone

Sun connotes warmth and light, waves mimic sandstone structure in Nevada.
Logo is clean, crisp and professional to reflect the cutting edge care provided.
Bright, warm rays of sun deliver a message of optimism and hope.

Logo colors:

Black and Gold—Regal and elegant to deliver a message of leadership. Unlike the typical blues and pinks used in healthcare, these colors are different and memorable.

3. Marketing

Craft compelling marketing materials that distinguish themselves in the healthcare market, resulting in substantial growth and increase in overall facility census.
